If you feel that your rights have been violated and would like to file a formal complaint, please follow the instructions below.

Logan Public Transit and its administrator, Hocking Athens Perry Community Action (HAPCAP), are committed to providing all transportation services in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Title VI / Civil Rights

Logan Public Transit and its administrator, Hocking Athens Perry Community Action (HAPCAP), operates its programs and services without regard to race, color and national origin in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act. Any person who believes they have been aggrieved by any unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI may file a complaint with HAPCAP at:

Reasonable Modifications

A reasonable modification is a change or exception to a policy, practice or procedure that allows disabled individuals to have equal access to programs, services and activities. Logan Public Transit will make reasonable modifications to policies, practices and procedures when necessary to ensure access to transit services for qualified individuals with disabilities, unless:

  • Making the accommodation would fundamentally alter the nature of the public transportation service.
  • Making the accommodation would create a direct threat to the health or safety of other passengers.
  • The individual with a disability is able to fully use Logan Public Transit’s service without the accommodation being made.

Who is Eligible for Reasonable Modification?

An individual is eligible to be considered to receive a reasonable modification if that individual has:

  • A physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more of the major life activities of such an individual.
  • A record of such impairment; or been regarded as having such impairment.

How can a Reasonable Modification be Requested?

Passengers can call (740) 385-6999 or write Logan Public Transit (35188 Hocking Drive, Logan, OH 43138) to request a reasonable modification be made.
