In our small community there is always a need for volunteering. The recent effect of the slow economy has hit Athens County hard, and many agencies and organizations are stretching budgets to help our residents. If you or someone you know is interested in volunteering, please contact the Athens County Mobility Coordinator who can discuss your desire to support and help our community.
Transportation Office Volunteers
Volunteer in our fun, fast-paced office! Help with mailings, assist with data entry, help out with development and advocacy initiatives, or lend a hand with a special project. Office hours are 8:00am - 4:00pm Monday through Friday.
Interns and Students
We welcome, interns, practicum students and individuals involved with service learning. Prospective volunteers meet individually with our Director to determin ethe best placement. We are the perfect place for your student learning experience!

Language Assistance
Do you know a language other than English? We are always looking at ways to communicate better with all of our riders. Whether helping to translate brochures or other print information or talking with someone directly-language assistance can really be the key for someone trying to use our services!
