Transportation for Seniors

United Seniors of Athens County
United Seniors operates three vans to transport elderly residents (sixty years old and older) of Athens County to and from the senior center, medical appointments, social service appointments, shopping, and other necessary trips. Routes are scheduled to specific geographical locations throughout the county on a regular basis. Individual appointments need to have at least 24 hours advance notice.

The PASSPORT Program offers a cost-effective, in-home alternative to nursing home care for Ohio residents age 60 and older with long-term care needs. PASSPORT is an Ohio Medicaid waiver program.

A referral to the PASSPORT program may come from anyone. To get started, simply call 1-800-331-2644
