HAPCAP and the SE Ohio Foodbank address this by distributing nutritious foods like produce, whole grains, dairy, and lean proteins. Through various programs, we redirect surplus from farmers to those in need and provide healthy, shelf-stable items to combat hunger in the region.
Narcan Program
HAPCAP offers free Narcan (Naloxone), a nasal spray that is crucial for reversing opioid overdoses. Being prepared with this treatment can save a life in the case of an overdose. This is especially important with the accidental ingestion of fentanyl, a highly potent opioid that is on the rise.
