Bus Fares & Passes

Standard fare is $1.00. The fare is paid when you board the bus and is good for a one-way trip with free connections. Drivers do not carry change, so please have exact fare ready. Fares for people 65 and older or with disabilities are $0.50. Proof of age or disability is required for initial discount fare qualification. Picture Passes

Additional passes are sold at the Athens Mayor’s Office in City Hall, 8 E Washington Street in uptown Athens, across from the Parking Garage and Chase Bank. – bring cash or check and a photo ID to the Utilities Billing Window to get yours. These passes, referred to as Picture Passes, represent our deepest discounts, so keep them in mind if you plan to ride regularly.
