The SE Ohio Foodbank is grateful to receive a $20,000 grant from TC Energy through its Build Strong Community Investment program. The funding will support the Foodbank's Neighbors Feeding Neighbors initiative by helping provide nutritious food to families across Southeast Ohio.
As grocery prices continue to rise, more households are relying on food assistance to make ends meet. This gift will help the Foodbank keep pantry shelves stocked and equip its network of local partner agencies with the resources they need to serve their communities.
The SE Ohio Foodbank works with more than 70 food pantries, meal sites, and community organizations across its 10-county service area to connect neighbors with healthy meals close to home. Partnerships like this make it possible to respond as needs change throughout the year while reaching more people across the region.
TC Energy's Build Strong program supports organizations working to strengthen the communities they serve. This grant will help the Foodbank continue providing reliable access to food while ensuring families across Southeast Ohio know they have somewhere to turn when they need help.
We're thankful to TC Energy for supporting our mission and helping us care for our neighbors. Together, we're building a stronger, healthier Southeast Ohio where fewer families have to worry about their next meal.
