Meals on Wheels Driver
Hocking Athens Perry Community Action is now accepting resumes for the position of Meals on Wheels Driver stationed at our Southeast Ohio Foodbank in Logan. The position is responsible for delivering meals to our Meals on Wheels clients, reporting roster information, assisting in packaging and loading of meals, and serving as a liaison between the participants and the kitchen. The position would also be responsible for assisting with kitchen duties such as prepping, packaging, cooking meals, and working at congregate dining sites when needed.
Candidates must have a High School diploma or GED. Applicants must also have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. The position is full time, 40 hours per week. Hours of work are Monday-Friday, from 7:00AM to 3:00PM.

Athens on Demand: Non-CDL Driver (Part Time)
Hocking Athens Perry Community Action (HAPCAP) is seeking dynamic and experienced people to fill available positions for part-time Athens On Demand Transit (AODT) Driver.
AODT is a curb-to-curb transportation system serving individuals across Athens County and beyond. This fast-paced and diverse position is responsible for transporting the public to various destinations within the county whether for work, medical appointments, school, shopping, or entertainment. In addition, AODT provides trips up to 100 miles outside of Athens County for individuals with disabilities.
We are looking for applicants who are capable of working individually and as a team, possess excellent driving skills, communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals. Background checks, drug screens, and a good driving record are required. Training is provided.
Based out of Athens, the starting salary is $15.39. Part-time positions include paid sick, vacation, and holiday leave.

Community Health Specialists
Hocking Athens Perry Community Action (HAPCAP) is looking for one or more Community Health Specialists to work with our HAPCAP for Health team at the Southeast Ohio Foodbank in Logan, OH. As a member of our team, you will work to further health access, food security, and equity for our rural neighbors.
The Community Health Specialist will conduct case management in our Bringing Healthy Home (Maternal/Prenatal) and Food as Medicine programs. The Community Health Specialist will meet with program participants on a regular basis, conducting home visits to deliver food and other materials. They will assess goals and assist with accessing resources and supportive services to meet health and social needs. They will also serve as a liaison between participants and healthcare professionals, to help address barriers to healthcare access.
Successful candidates will have the ability to work well with a wide range of staff, partners, neighbors, and vendors. Additionally, the candidate will need to establish and maintain good relationships with community-based organizations, social service agencies, healthcare providers, and managed care providers for referral of participants and care coordination.
A high school diploma or GED is required. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. In addition, applicants must possess very good computer and organizational skills and have the ability to communicate with people of all socioeconomic backgrounds. A commitment to addressing the causes and conditions of poverty and hunger is essential. Current license as a Community Health Worker in Ohio is preferred but not required.
This is a full-time position within a dynamic, service-oriented work environment. The salary for this position starts and $37,500 annually and includes 100% health, dental, and vision coverage for the employee, a generous paid time off package, retirement plan with 6% employer matching, and periodic Cost of Living Adjustments (COLA).

Heating Technician
Hocking Athens Perry Community Action is excited to announce a new position at the
agency, Heating Technician. HAPCAP is seeking to recruit one of these positions to
assist our Home Weatherization Assistance Program (HWAP) program with HVAC
related work as it pertains to energy conservation as well as health and safety in residential
settings.
Applicants must have at least one year of HVAC experience (two preferred) and the EPA 608
Technician Certification Type II or Universal. Applicants must be able to work at heights as
well as in confined spaces and must possess an ability to achieve production requirements.
Applicants must be highly organized and attentive to detail, have a strong work ethic, possess a
valid Ohio driver’s license, have a good driving record and have access to reliable transportation.
The successful applicant must have or be able to complete training programs such as Heating
Technician Training, Heating Unit Inspection, Lead EPA RRP, and OSHA 10. The salary for
Heating Technician is $40,000 - $45,000 per year with full fringe benefits including but not

Part Time On Call Maintenance Worker
Hocking Athens Perry Community Action is seeking a part time Maintenance Worker to be available to respond to emergency maintenance needs at Creekside Apartments in Chauncey, Ohio outside of standard business hours. The times of possible short notice need to respond will be from 4 PM - 8 AM daily Monday - Friday as well as all weekends and holidays. Hours of work will vary greatly, be inconsistent and will be based solely on after hours need.
Applicants will be expected to be able to perform a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled maintenance functions at any of the six buildings at Creekside Apartments and should have 1 year of maintenance experience. Applicants must be able to work on all aspects of the property both inside and out as well as in confined spaces and be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Applicants must be organized and have a strong work ethic, possess a valid Ohio driver's license, have a good driving record, have access to reliable transportation and pass a pre-employment background check.
