Due to high temperatures, HAPCAP's Glouster Office, The Market at Hocking Drive, and the New Lexington Service Center will be open as cooling stations during regular open hours.

Changes to Athens Public Transit Effective Immediately

ATHENS, OH – Starting Monday, April 12, Athens Public Transit is resuming full service. All city routes will return to their pre-COVID schedules. Line 7 will continue to run once every two hours. Starting on Thursday April 15, Athens Public Transit will resume collecting fares.

Schedules:

Line 2: Once every hour. Mon–Fri 7:30am to 7:23pm, Sat 9:30am to 5:23pm.

Line 3: Once every hour. Mon–Fri 6:48am to 9:54pm, Sat 8:48am to 9:54pm.

Line 4: Once every hour. Mon–Fri 7:45am to 9:45pm, Sat 8:45am to 9:45pm.

Line 5: Once every hour. Mon–Fri 7:20am to 7:26pm, Sat 9:20am to 5:26pm.

Line 6: Once every hour. Mon–Fri 6:52am to 6:57pm, Saturday 9:02am to 4:57pm.

Line 7a: Once every 2 hours. Mon–Fri 7:45am to 6:45pm, Sat 8:45am to 3:45pm

Line 7n: Once every 2 hours. Mon–Fri 6:45am to 5:45pm, Sat 8:45am to 2:45pm
