SNAP Outreach Program
The Supplemental Nutrition AssistanceProgram (also known as "SNAP" or"food stamps") helps millions of families throughout the U.S. to buy food for their families. With your SNAP benefits, you can buy food for your household, such as breads, cereals, fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, poultry, and dairy products. Your monthly amount depends on your income, expenses, and how many people live with you.
Lydia is our SNAP Outreach Worker, and she can answer your questions about SNAP or the application process. If you have any questions about SNAP or would like assistance with the application, please contact Lydia at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at (740) 270-3247.
Lydia began working as the SNAP Outreach Worker in May of 2021. She is originally from Bowling Green, OH, and moved to Athens to attend Ohio University. After graduating in 2020, Lydia decided to stay in southeast Ohio, a region she developed a passion for during her four years at OU. She is excited about the opportunity to help more people in the area gain greater access to food by enrolling in SNAP.
