Energy Assistance Programs
HAPCAP helps reduce the stress of utility bills for people with low incomes. We assist with high heating and electric bill costs, arrange income-based payment agreements, and provide repairs for central air conditioning. Additionally, we help those facing disconnection or low fuel supplies with the Winter or Summer Crisis Programs.
HAPCAP MicroLoan Program
HAPCAP and OUCU Financial provide a MicroLoan program for residents of Hocking, Athens, and Perry Counties. Loans of up to $1,500 can cover one-time payments. These payments include car or home repairs, payday or car loans, uncovered medical costs, education fees, and home or apartment deposits.
Safelink Wireless
Staying connected is crucial. Cell phones help us connect with family and employers and keep us safe. The SafeLink Wireless Program provides free cell phones and minutes for individuals living with low incomes.
