6th Annual Brake for Breakfast Returns to Athens October 7

WHAT:
HAPCAP for Health, in partnership with OhioHealth and CareSource, is hosting the 6th annual Brake for Breakfast—a drive-thru women’s health awareness event. Community members are invited to stop by for a free grab-and-go breakfast, hot brewed coffee from Court Street Coffee, and a resource bag full of goodies.

In addition to raising awareness, this event makes care more accessible by offering on-site mobile health units. Participants can schedule their annual screenings with OhioHealth and visit the mobile mammography unit.

WHY:
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and early detection saves lives. Now in its sixth year, Brake for Breakfast continues to provide a convenient and meaningful way for residents to prioritize their health and connect directly with essential screening services.
