Housing - HAPCAP

The Housing & Community Development division of HAPCAP has partnered with many local, state and federal agencies to build housing developments for low-income individuals, families, senior citizens, and people with disabilities throughout Southeastern Ohio. HAPCAP has maintained ownership of several of these housing developments, those being Kimberly Meadows Apartments in Nelsonville, Ohio, and Creekside Apartments in Chauncey, Ohio.

Rent and Mortgage Relief

If you are at risk of foreclosure or eviction due to the COVID-19 pandemic, HAPCAP has funding avenues that may be able to help.

A Fair Housing Consortium has been established to provide services to Hocking, Athens and Perry Counties to prevent discrimination in housing.

Home Rehabilitation

If your home poses a threat to you and your family but you can’t afford the repair costs, you may be eligible for assistance through our Home Rehabilitation program.

Home Repair

Is your home posing a threat to the health and safety of you and your family but you can't afford the repair costs? HAPCAP's Housing division offers a Home Repair program that might be able to help.

Unlike our Home Rehabilitation program our Home Repair program is designed for homes with less severe repair needs and repairs are typically limited to one or two health and/or safety items.

Home Weatherization Assistance Program (HWAP)

A drafty household can often lead to expensive home energy bills which can put a financial burden on many Ohio families during the winter months. To help with this difficulty, we offer the Ohio Home Weatherization Assistance Program (HWAP).
