Hocking Athens Perry Community Action is now accepting resumes for the position of Foodbank Operations Specialist stationed at our Regional Food Center in Logan. The position acts as a liaison and handles day to day operation of the Foodbank programs. This position assists in the operation and oversight of product inventory as well as in the scheduling of pick-ups and deliveries to and from the warehouse.

The Foodbank Operations Specialist is responsible for establishing distribution site locations and scheduling and handling the distribution of product at community sites.  It also oversees tracking and ordering of commodities and other supplies for the program.  The position is responsible for the submission of all inventory reports to funding authorities or others as required.

Candidates must have a High School diploma or GED with an Associate’s Degree preferred in a social service-related field with program coordination experience.  Previous foodbank experience is a plus. Applicants must also have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
