Hocking Athens Perry Community Action is now accepting resumes for the position of Southeast Ohio Foodbank Coordinator stationed at our Regional Food Center in Logan. The position is responsible for the management and coordination of all Foodbank activities in a manner consistent with Foodbank objectives, with a focus on the development and growth of Foodbank operations. The Southeast Ohio Foodbank is a 10-county, 60+ member agency operation dedicated to eliminating hunger in Southeast Ohio.
The Foodbank Coordinator is responsible for the oversight and management of all Foodbank programs including but not limited to CSFP, OFP, ACP, TEFAP and the Purchase Program, as well as compliance with all food safety regulatory laws and guidelines. Duties include; managing foodbank personnel, scheduling and maintaining day-to-day operations, managing a continual flow of food into the foodbank, evaluating food programs and reporting statistics to funders and government entities, and enforcing all regulations regarding the foodbank.
Candidates must have an Associates Degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience in supervising staff and managing warehouse and carrier operations. Previous Foodbank experience is a plus. Applicants must also have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
