Employment Program Specialist

Hocking Athens Perry Community Action is excited to announce that it has an opening for an Employment Program Specialist to support the Athens and Perry County Flood Programs.


The Employment Program Specialist is responsible for assuring compliance with all assigned employment program components, including conducting program orientations, intake and eligibility assessments and maintaining participant files. The Specialist will also perform some financial management duties including procurement and vouchering in addition to monitoring worksites, safety and inventory.


Qualifications include: High School Diploma or GED, oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and data base applications, ability to work independently and in a group in a fast paced environment, ability to work effectively with state and local government officials, community leaders & organizations, private contractors and design professionals,
possess a valid driver’s license and have access to reliable transportation.

The salary for this position is $14.42 per hour plus full fringe benefits.
