CCMEP Transit Driver

Hocking Athens Perry Community Action (HAPCAP) is accepting applications for the position of Part-Time Transit Driver for the Perry County Comprehensive Case Management and Employment Program (CCMEP), a program funded by the Perry County Department of Job & Family Services. HAPCAP’s mission is to mobilize resources to empower individuals and communities through advocacy and quality services that promote self-sufficiency and improved quality of life.

Transit Driver: Duties include: Using a company vehicle to transport CCMEP participants to various destinations, communicating with participants regarding scheduling requests, and maintaining and coordinating all trip logs and manifests. This is a regular, part-time position. The position will operate out of New Lexington. The pay is $10.10 per hour and includes applicable fringe benefits.

Qualifications for this position include, at the minimum, the following: High School Diploma or GED equivalent, strong customer communication skills, basic math skills, a valid driver’s license, and a good driving record. In addition, a successful candidate will be subject to a background check and drug and alcohol screening. Familiarity with Perry County is desirable. HAPCAP is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
