Athens Flood Program Crew Leaders/Laborers

Do you like being outdoors?  Can you lift 50 pounds, work with a team and possess excellent communication skills?  Then we’re looking for you!  Hocking Athens Perry Community Action is excited to announce that it has openings for Flood Cleanup Crew Laborers to operate Disaster Recovery Programs in Athens County.  Ideal candidates will possess a GED or High School Diploma, a current driver’s license, and have reliable transportation to HAPCAP in Glouster from 8 AM – 4 PM, Monday through Friday.  The positions are full time, pay $11.06 per hour plus full fringe benefits, and could last for up to one year.

To be considered for this position applicants must meet Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) eligibility criteria for a dislocated worker or long term unemployed.  You may also qualify if you are unemployed, been terminated or laid off, were self-employed, or are a transitioning service member, recently separated veteran, or a displaced homemaker.

Training will be provided and crew laborers will be required to pass a drug and alcohol screening and all training components successfully in order to work.
